High levels of work, dictate an immediate need to bring in junior to mid-level company and commercial partner to lead the existing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished solicitor and whilst due to the nature of work at hand ideally you’ll have gained a minimum of 8 years relevant experience at another UK legal practice, the firm may consider strong candidates outside these parameters.

 

This is an opportunity for those who thrive on building and maintaining close client relationships and the individual responsibility associated with that rather than conducting huge, numbers driven, transactions. With the focus more on SME’s, profitable private companies, owner managed businesses and entrepreneurs; this is a non-contentious role offering a considerable breadth of CoCo work. Accordingly it will ideally suit a transactional lawyer with a proven legal track record and strong drafting/negotiation experience of joint ventures, partnerships and shareholder agreements, business transfers, outsourcing contracts and commercial agreements and IP.

 

You’ll be an energetic, client facing and entrepreneurial team player, comfortable working alongside other senior lawyers on complex issues or running your own matters either independently or with the team under you. Ideally you’ll be seeking greater independence, whilst leading and developing the existing small but impressive team. All the firm’s lawyers enjoy proactive involvement in client development, backed up by its highly active marketing and support initiative. From the outset you should be ready to substantiate this as another impressive element of your legal skill-set.
