Our client is a leading energy company with an immediate requirement that offers a superb in-house legal opportunity for an accomplished junior solicitor or barrister.
As a leader in the constantly evolving renewable energy sector the company passionately navigates an ever changing environment. Its highly motivated management and personnel are fully integrated, ensuring maximisation of all aspects of the business from sales through to planning, construction and operations.
Backed by a substantial in-house team to ensure seamless legal support, due to ever increasing levels of work the team has a further requirement for an accomplished junior construction solicitor with circa two years’ experience, ideally gained in the energy and renewables sector, either in private practice, at the Bar or in-house.
Working as part of a highly energetic team on a broad range of sector focused work, you’ll be a bright, confident and highly responsive lawyer, with experience of drafting and negotiating a broad range of construction contracts including EPC, FIDIC, JCT and rooftop installation agreements, preferably in the renewables sector. Familiarity of drafting bonds, collateral warranties, supply/procurement agreements, parent company guarantees is also desirable.
In an industry that is constantly changing this is no cookie cutter role and thus legal agility, commercial foresight and strong business acumen are all part of the requirement. With an ever increasing international client base, fluency in one or more European languages would be a valuable asset.
