This leading international practice has an immediate need for a top flight associate at the junior level to join its renowned competition and regulatory practice group. The team has extensive expertise in EU and UK competition law with expertise in merger, cartel, behavioural and competition litigation cases in both jurisdictions.

 

There is seamless integration with its strong sectoral regulation practice that regularly advises on merger control work and boasting outstanding success in acting for governments and industry clients on restructurings, regulatory initiatives and transactions in a number of sectors including transport, logistics, telecoms, media, energy and water and waste management. In addition to merger work the broad diet includes advising clients on legislative changes, price control, procurement and other aspects of regulatory strategy.

 

With a minimum of six months PQE candidates will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of this area with a good deal of exposure during training. More accomplished associates with two to three years under their belt will have a track record of advising medium and large scale operations in the regulated sectors.
